The new Buckley Youth Info Shop is now open! The shops hours are 2:30 – 5pm Tuesday and Thursday.
Holywell Info shop
The new Young Person’s Info shop is now fully up and running. It is the first of it’s kind in the county and is there for you to access information on a range of issues relevant to your life if you are aged between 11 and 25.
Information provided is:
- Free and confidential
- Independent and impartial
- Accurate and up to date
- Covers all needs and interests.
Services provided include:
- Free internet access to information specific to young people
- Free leaflets, brochures and posters on a wide range of topics
- Confidential support and guidance from trained, professional and young person friendly staff.
- Signposting and access to other organisations and services for young people.
Specialist workers available including:
- Shelter Cymru homelessness Drop In – Mondays 2 - 4pm
- Confidential Health Advice for Teenagers (CHAT) Clinic – Wednesdays 3 - 5pm
- Careers Wales Advisor - Wednesdays 12- 4 pm
- 'Safe Sex' education/information and free condoms available under the 'C Card Scheme' every day.
- The ‘Word on the Street’ (WOTS) Advocacy Service is also available at the Info Shop. Click here for more information.
