Information » Sport & Leisure
Your free time is precious, and should be spent doing the things you enjoy and doesn’t have to cost money. It could be that you simply enjoy meeting up with your friends to socialise or enjoy grabbing a ball and having a kick-around in the local park. The important thing is that you enjoy yourself.
You don't have to be football obsessed or an X Factor wannabe (not that there's anything wrong with either of those) to get involved in sport and leisure, but there's no substitute for stimulating your mind and exercising your body. Your local area offers many activities, and this section is where you can find out when and where.
From arts clubs to where to meet to try your skills at parkour (free running), this section contains links and advice on everything from youth clubs to five-a-side clubs. Feel like running next year's London Marathon or taking part in your nearest Walk For life? Click on the sub-categories and start planning your next personal goal.

Thanks for posting the links to sports clubs in my area, I hope to get fit for the new year and making new friends while i'm doing so would be an added bonus.

Sport is very good for one's mental health-It allows youv to clear those cobwebs and has its long-term positive effects on physical performance!
Also, by doing sport outside of school, you can meet new [people and make new friends! So get outside and do some sports or exercise at least once a day! It doesn't have to be a big football match-Just a walk round the block will do! Don't treat it as a chore!
