At first I was very nervous to take on this assignment for the Young Flintshire Youth Editorial Group (YFYEGs). However, the time came on that Friday night to go to meet the dance teacher, who was going to be leading us through a 2 hour rehearsal the day before we went to a secret location in Flint and started to just randomly dance when the music started.

The dance was a great mix of songs and kept us all entertained throughout the rehearsal and performance. However, I managed to persuade friends to come along and join in and they picked the dance up even quicker than me. The effect we created was great!!

The Saturday morning came and we all met, had our last rehearsal and dispersed in to town. We performed at quarter past 12. Although Flint wasn't that busy, we brought the shops to a stand still. We then went to a historic location, Flint Castle, where we danced again.

This is the video of our final rehearsal and I would like to thank everyone who participated and I look forward to future events.

The organisers have asked me to pass on their thanks to everyone who took part. She said you were all 'stars'!

Got something to say?
