In 2009 people from all over Flintshire, including young people, worked with Flintshire County Council to develop an ‘An Actif Future’. This is Flintshire’s five year leisure strategy setting out their passion for and commitment to physical activity and sport for all.

In the current economic situation, Flintshire would like to know how you think about how they can face some new challenges:

Reducing operating costs

Increase income

Ensure that a high quality leisure programme is sustained in to the future.

Ian Budd, Director at Lifelong Learning at Flintshire County Council, would like to find out your views and ideas on how the goals above can be achieved. Your ideas and experiences will be most welcome.

Take a look at the at the letter and consultation form below. It outlines some of the issues that Leisure Services face, and gives you an opportunity to get your voices heard.

The consultation closes on 15th November 2010.
